Luxurious designs for conscious souls
We believe it’s possible to create fashion with love and preserving our planet.
We started in 2007 with only 12 mothers, nowadays more than 250 on different communities of the Peruvian Andes. This is our family and story

America Durand I am a Peruvian mother and since I was young, I have felt a mission to get involved and help Andean communities, especially widows and single mothers. With a Social Work degree and being an expert knitter, I am proud to see how the skillful hands of our mothers I lead are changing their lives for the better through my company

Hans Valdez, I am Peruvian and travel all over my country and many others around the world. With an Ecotourism degree, besides management studies in Fashion, I discovered the wonders of my textile heritage, which I combine with inspirations I continually gather worldwide. Nowadays, I create our exquisite designs with our MIA PERU team and attend worldwide trade shows. I lead the company.

Jenifer Valdez, I am a Peruvian mother of two. With a degree in Tourism and extensive knowledge of management, I have supervised Fair Trade companies in the USA. Nowadays, I manage the entire production process and strictly oversee our Fair Trade standards, maintaining close relationships with our mothers, suppliers, and providers to ensure our certifications and the whole system work in harmony.
Our TeamThe majority of our members are women who live in various communities, knitting from the safety of their homes while caring for their children or in their free time. Our MIA PERU knitters are represented by leaders chosen by the women themselves. These leaders are in charge of coordinating with our head offices in the highlands and our Lima Hub. Our knitters are highly skilled thanks to our continuous workshops yearly, reaching the high standards required to produce our collections. As our brand stands for inclusion, we also have men in our organization involved in weaving, knitting and other areas

Our Mission To continue creating high-quality, handmade garments using pure natural fibers, while empowering women artisans through fair trade, social inclusion, and sustainable practices that honor both people and the planet..

Our Vision To keep elevating ethical luxury worldwide through the perfect fusion of ancestral mastery, contemporary design, and conscious growth.
